In my years as a photographer, I've learned that my favorite photos don't usually end up being the ones I originally intended to take. It's always the moments in between. The moments when the light does something totally unexpected and the moments when people's joy is revealed purely through their experience. I strive to capture life as it truly is, not just the mountaintops, but the journey to reach them as well...

One of the WILDEST moments of my life, watching the mid-day November light hit these insane cliffs in the Faroe Islands.
I love this portrait. Nothing brings out joy like a mountain sunset with good friends.

Some of the craziest conditions I've ever witnessed as the clouds begin to clear after two days of total fog in the Tetons.
Fun fact: I am OBSESSED with cool clouds. If I walk outside and there's even ONE dope cloud I'm immediately stoked no matter what.
I don't even know. Earth is dumb.
Probably the most insane sunrise of my life. I mean COME ON. Just LOOK at those clouds! (Please see above, Zach is obsessed with clouds).
People say I look like Frodo Baggins in this picture. I don't know, I've always felt like more of an Aragorn but hey whatever works I guess...
